Scepter containers are 14% - 41% lighter than traditional wood and steel packaging.
Lighter weight equipment eases the load of the already over-burdened warfighter, and provides opportunities to save costs on healthcare, vehicle maintenance, and fuel, while helping reduce carbon emissions and allowing logistics planners to maximize the payload of aircraft and other vehicles.
Plastic is both lighter and safer, and with fewer dunnage components, there is less ammunition handling and minimum battle-field debris, improving safety outcomes in the theatre and in the ammunition plant.
